A mega free health camp was organised by Maven Medical centre, Hyderabad at Times Hospital here on Sunday. A good number of people from Vijayawada and suburban places visited the medical camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajesh said that many patients suffering from Varicose Veins opt for surgery. However, the latest laser treatment procedure should be the right choice. He said that with surgery there are chances of infection after surgery. But with laser treatment, it is 100 per cent safe and there will not be any scope of infection.
He further said that at Maven Medical Centre, Hyderabad, laser treatment procedure is done for Varicose Veins since 2011. He said that for diabetics and hypertension patients suffering from Varicose Veins, laser treatment is the correct procedure without any side effects, said Dr Rajesh.
He said that Varicose Veins is caused by standing for long time at work place, sitting for long time, obesity, hereditary and other reasons. With Colour Doppler, the intensity of the problem can be detected and treatment can be given, said the doctor on the occasion.
