MLA Malladi launches Badminton tourney at Vijayawada
Central Assembly constituency MLA Malladi Vishnu inaugurated the Midtown Badminton League at the Sai Sandeep Badminton Academy on Sunday.
Vijayawada: Central Assembly constituency MLA Malladi Vishnu inaugurated the Midtown Badminton League at the Sai Sandeep Badminton Academy on Sunday. The tournament is organised jointly by Rotary Club of Vijayawada Mid Town, Gates Institute of Management and Sciences and Avera electronic scooters.
Speaking on the occasion, Malladi Vishnu said the Rotary Club was always ahead in doing social service activities. Sports and games would enhance the friendship between the members of the Rotary Club, he added. He congratulated the organisers for conducting the tourney.
LIC Machilipatnam Senior Divisional Manager P Suryanarayana said sports and games help us to stay fit and healthy.
Midtown Badminton League Chairman T Kishore Babu said the sports tournament were conducted for the fitness and health of Rotary Club members. He said the event was conducted along with eight teams.
A rally was organised from Gurunanak Colony to BRTC Road Food Junction on the occasion. Rotary Club of Vijayawada president and secretary Krishna Prabhu and Venkat Ketoboina, Yadla Parthasarathy and others were present on the occasion.
