Nellore: Set up fever clinics at industrial zones, Collector M V Seshagiri Babu tells officials
Truenat kits should be made available at the fever clinics to conduct Covid tests on workers in industrial zones, says District Collector M V Seshagiri Babu at a review meet
Nellore: District Collector M V Seshagiri Babu directed the officials to establish fever clinics with Truenat kits at the industrial corridors located in Muthukur, Mambattu and Menakuru areas in the district for preventing the spread of Coronavirus.
He reviewed with the officials of Labour and Industries departments at his camp office in the city on Friday and said that the officials have to make arrangements for setting up fever clinics with availability of Truenat kits for conducting the tests on the workers.
He said the officials of the Pollution Control Board and Labour departments contact the management of the industries for arranging the fever clinics. Authorities should check whether the firms are maintaining safety measures or not. Industries in the SEZs have to follow guidelines of the Government of India for preventing the spread of the virus,' said the Collector. Deputy Commissioner of Labour Venkat Narayana, General Manager of Labour department Prasad Rao, Pollution Control Board official Pramod Kumar Reddy and others were present.
