Nine killed in a lorry-tractor collision in Jaggayyapeta Mandal in Krishna district
In a horrific incident, as many as nine people were killed in a worst road accident occurred at Vedadri of Jaggaiahpet mandal in Krishna district on Wednesday.
In a horrific incident, as many as nine people were killed in the worst road accident occurred at Vedadri of Jaggaiahpet Mandal in Krishna district on Wednesday. The incident occurred when a lorry collided with a tractor. Apart from nine deceased, four members said to be in critical condition. The deceased are identified to belong to Tondala Gopavaram village in Madhira Mandal of Khammam district.
A group of 25 people from Madhira were travelling to Vedadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy for the darshan in a tractor, which led to Nine people being killed on the spot and many were reported to have suffered serious injuries.
Knowing the information, the police reached the scene and rushed the injured to the hospital. The case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
