No more venom against Tirupati development: MLA

Tirupati: Chandragiri MLA Pulivarti Nani and TUDA Chairman C Diwakar Reddy rejected former MLA Bhuman Karunakar Reddy’s allegations on Tirupati’s development and land allotments, calling them baseless.
MLA and TUDA Chairman addressed a media conference here on Tuesday. They said under Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh’s leadership, Tirupati is advancing rapidly.
They said that Naidu tirelessly working day and night on state growth, housing for the poor, and welfare schemes.
They added that Lokesh focusing on attracting companies abroad to create jobs for the unemployed.
Karunakar Reddy’s allegation of selling 21 acres for Rs 1,400 crore is ridiculous and untrue, they alleged.
Private land prices in Tirupati reach Rs 250 crore per acre now.
All allotments follow government transparency rules. With 1.5 lakh daily devotees, existing 800-850 star hotel rooms fall short. Hotels like Hyatt, Marriott, and Novotel are vital for pilgrim comfort and local employment.
They also said the government is fast-tracking 80-foot road expansions, court complex, and master plan roads neglected before. Traffic near Tiruchanur is being resolved. They cautioned against personal attacks on Lokesh and politicizing progress. The goal is a peaceful spiritual Tirupati, not a rowdy city, they said.
They urged critics to support development or face public response.
