Vijayawada: M Parnika Vardhini, studying in NSM Public School excelled in state-level painting competition organised by NTPC (Simhadri) corporation. Parnika Vardhini secured first place and won cash prize of Rs 50,000 in the competition.
The cash prize was given by NTPC director. Addressing the gathering at a programme to congratulate Parnika Vardhini, the school principal Bro Lawrence D'Souza said that students should concentrate on studies and also on creative arts.
He expressed his happiness as the student of the school secured first prize at a state level drawing competition. Teachers and staff complimented the winner Parnika Vardhini and drawing teacher A Ram Babu on the occasion.
