Kakinada: KMC Commissioner K Ramesh organised stake holders meet on likely effect of Fani cyclone to Kakinada and suburbs on Sunday.
At the meet organised at corporation meeting hall in which the revenue, fisheries, engineering section in corporation, medical and health services attended, the commissioner asked them to be more alert on the possible effect of cyclone as per cyclone warning centre information.
The commissioner asked the concerned authorities to keep the community centres ready with amenities in case of need of cyclone effect for shelter. The commissioner also directed the owners of buildings who got installed or let place for hoardings at the top of their buildings to be more cautious as the strong winds are likely during the cyclone, if affects Kakinada.
