With the complaint of BCCI chief selector MSK Prasad, the Vijayawada cyber crime police have arrested Nagaraju, who was collecting money from the public in the name of MSK Prasad.
Vijayawada: With the complaint of BCCI chief selector MSK Prasad, the Vijayawada cyber crime police have arrested Nagaraju, who was collecting money from the public in the name of MSK Prasad.
On creating the fake name as MSK Prasad, BCCI chief selector in True Caller mobile app, the accused Nagaraju duped as a young cricketer selected by MSK Prasad and collected Rs 7 lakh from the people.
From Ramakrishna housing society in Vijayawada, Nagaraju has collected 3 lakh, and another 4 lakh from Hyderabad.
MSK Prasad who was celebrating his birthday in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday said that a case has been registered in Vijayawada.
Over the complaint, the police have traced Nagaraju, verifying his bank account and other details. In the investigation, it is found that Nagaraju is a native of Srikakulam.
