Ongole Lions Club holds blood donation camp
The Lions Club of Ongole in association with the NSS Unit of the QIS Engineering College organized a mega blood donation camp at the college campus on Friday, announced the club president Dr Shakir.

Shakir said that the Nidamanuri Educational Trust chairman Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao has inaugurated the blood donation camp and advised the youngsters to come forward to donate blood and save lives in emergency.
He said that they have conducted blood tests to about 200 students and collected 105 units of blood of various groups.
The club secretary Bezawada Chakravarti, treasurer Srinivas, GMT coordinator Nimmagadda Venkateswara Rao, former zone chairman Mahamkali Venkata Seshaiah, Dr Chenchula Prasanna from RIMS Ongole, NSS Coordinator Vasu and staff from RIMS blood bank and students also participated in the program.
