Ongole: Madiga groups in two Telugu States will organise Chalo Delhi in May to achieve their long pending demand of SC categorisation.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, AP Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti president and Telugu States chairman P Venkateswar Rao Madiga lamented that political parties, which had supported 26-year-long struggle for SCs' categorisation into A, B, C and D groups, now maintaining silence over the issue.
He demanded that the state government send an all-party delegation to Delhi in this regard.
He criticised Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for not acting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) even though chief ministers of 14 states have been opposing the same.
