An Awareness Rally was organised by Andhra Pradesh Society of Nephrology to mark World Kidney Day here on Thursday
Vijayawada: An awareness rally was organised by Andhra Pradesh Society of Nephrology to mark World Kidney Day here on Thursday.
The rally commenced from Executive club and ended at Siddhartha Medical College. Organ Donation rally was also held on the occasion.
VMC Commissioner M Rama Rao, Medical education director Jeevan Das, Trust chairman Dr K Babji, Siddhartha Medical College principal Dr R Sheshank, heroin Priyanka Sharma and others participated in the awareness rally.
A poster was released on the occasion.
Dr Amanna of Arun Kidney centre said the theme of World Kidney Day 2019 was 'Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere' and said that people should take all precautionary measures to stay away from kidney related problems.
Actress Priyanka said that she always feels the responsibility to participate in the health awareness rally to educate the people and spread the message of importance of maintaining good health.
Dr Sai Krishna, Dr Sharath Babu and others were present on the occasion.
