Guntur: Tenali police on Saturday seized 39 kgs of silver while being transported from Tenali town to Visakhapatnam during the routine cheking of vehicles and arrested three persons in this connection.
The police asked them to produce bills relating to silver stock. When they failed to produce the bills, the police took the silver into their custody and handed it over to the Income Tax officials for taking further action.
The value of silver stock is valued at Rs15.31 lakh. Tenali Two Town police registered a case.
