Rajamahendravaram: The Rajamahendravaram Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society (ROGS) conducted a free cancer awareness and screening programme on the premises of urban superintendent of police here on Sunday, as part of national level programme at 350 centres.
The doctors examined 160 female police and their female family members including the female members of Central Reserve Police Force in the camp.
ROGS president Dr Aruna Kumari briefed about the breast and cervical cancer to the participants.
Dr Ganga Sushismitha, noted Rotarian V Bhaskar Ram, additional superintendent of police Dr G Murali Krishna, GSL medical college representative TVS Murthi, Rotary Club of Rajamahendravaram River City president Sunkara Nagendra Kishore, CRPF commandant Niranjan Saine, ROGS secretary Dr Annapurna and others were present.
