Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP city coordinator Srighakollapu Sivarama Subramanyam said that the party will capture mayor seat along with all the corporator seats in the ensuing municipal corporation elections.
Speaking to 'The Hans India' at his office here on Tuesday, he said the party has enough strength in the city and all the party leaders were working with coordination. There were no differences with MP Margani Bharat Ram and ready to work with him and no problem to share dais with him, he added.
Relating to 10-day padayatra, MP Bharat and himself participated separately to cover 50 divisions. An action plan was devised to strengthen the party more by conducting padayatras three days in a week to know the problems of the people and also to address them.
Party president, ward in-charges, former corporators, MLAs and other leaders will participate in the programme which was inevitable, he said.
Plans were afoot to join 20,000 families into YSRCP in the city and working in this regard. Ninety percent of families in the city were enjoying the fruits of welfare schemes and expressing pleasure about the implementation of welfare schemes by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Sivarama Subramanyam further said Jana Sena Party (JSP) will be merged in BJP shortly. Pawan Kalyan follows the footsteps of his brother Chiranjeevi who merged Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) in Congress.
Local leaders of TDP who were on death bed, were speaking about Amaravathi and three capitals issue setting aside local issues. Moreover, BJP also trying to survive by levelling baseless allegations on state government.
The people were watching the functioning of the parties and they know well who were working for the people. The historical city will be developed on all fronts with Rs 125 crore funds of 14th Finance Commission, Subramanyam averred.
