Collector R Muthyala Raju has called upon lecturers and principals to teach students in such a way that it will be easier for them to secure ranks in competition examinations like Eamcet.
Eluru: Collector R Muthyala Raju has called upon lecturers and principals to teach students in such a way that it will be easier for them to secure ranks in competition examinations like Eamcet. He convened a meeting of education officials, principals and lecturers to review teaching techniques here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that introspection is necessary for lecturers. They should question themselves whether they are giving same treatment to their students as they do with their own children. There should be no partiality in them in taking special care for their children and a different way of imparting education to their students.
The students should not be forced to by-heart the lessons which is of no use in securing ranks in competitive examinations. They should change their way of teaching the subject and always try to help the student understand the subject. He said henceforth he would review the way students are taught in the colleges every week.
