Visakhapatnam: R Dhananjayulu assumed charge as Officer on Special Duty of South Coast Railway on Monday. He replaced S S Srinivas, who has been appointed as Divisional Railway Manager, Guntur.

Previously, Dhananjayulu (1988-batch) was an officer at Indian Railway Traffic Service and joined Indian Railways in 1989 and worked in various capacities in operations, commercial, safety and general administration departments in Hubli, Hyderabad and Vijayawada Divisions and also in the Headquarters Offices of South Central Railway.

He worked as a Divisional Railway Manager in Vijayawada Division. Prior to his appointment, he was a Chief Transportation Planning Manager at SCR. He also worked on deputation with Container Corporation of India. As part of his official duties, he visited several places, including Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Singapore.
