Kakinada: District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi on Thursday paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary.
He called upon people to work together to build a strong and united India. He said that since 2014, October 31 is being celebrated as National Unity Day. This day gives the message to protect the unity, integrity and security of our country at any cost.
The Superintendent of Police flagged off the 'Run for Unity' on the occasion. Additional SP SV Sridhar Rao, OSD Hafez, AR Additional SP VS Prabhakar Rao, AR DSP SV Apparao, SB DSP S Murali Mohan, M Ambika Prasad, students and others participated in the run.
