SP Siddharth Kaushal conducts counselling for cops
Prakasam SP Siddharth Kaushal conducted the counselling for the ASIs, head constables and constables in the district in an innovative way, using technology, on Saturday.
Ongole: Prakasam SP Siddharth Kaushal conducted the counselling for the ASIs, head constables and constables in the district in an innovative way, using technology, on Saturday. About 387 police personnel were qualified for the regular transfers in the district, based on their seniority up to May 31, 2019.
Out of them, 380 personnel attended the counselling process and choose their interested places for the posting. The DPO made arrangements to show the service details on one screen and the vacancies available in various police stations on another screen for their easy and transparent transfers.
For the personnel, who were not able to attend the counselling for various reasons, the SP utilised technology to give them a chance. He made a video call to Pratapa Reddy, a constable in Tallur police station, who is on leave and approved his request to get transferred to his desired police station.
He also called Srinivasa Rao, an ASI in Chirala, who is in Malaysia on leave, and approved his request. The additional SP K Mahendra Patrudu, SB DSP VS Rambabu, SB 2 CI U Suryanarayana, SI Nayab Rasool, superintendent Satyavani, and other staff participated in the process.
