Srikakulam: Parents told to keep tab on youth says V Srinivasa Rao
The youth should be aware on HIV positive and negative impacts of AIDS disease, said V Srinivasa Rao, director of Mahila Margadarsi, an NGO.

The NGO organised a rally and formed human chain on Saturday to mark the World AIDS Day on Sunday at two different government high schools at Sativada in Gara mandal and Srikakulam district headquarters. Speaking on the occasion, the schoolteachers and the NGO director expressed concern over rising number of HIV positive cases in the country.
They said the increasing trend of using internet, smart phones and availability of social media were spoiling the youths. Due to tender age, the youth were easily being attracted by internet and social media, they said and suggested the parents to watch activities of children who attained tender age. Students of two government schools and local elders attended the event.
