Srisailam: The Sri Devi Sarannavaratri celebrations at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam will commence on October 11 and conclude on October 20.

Temple Trust Board Chairman Potugunta Ramesh Naidu and Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao stated that the annual Dasara festivities would be conducted with traditional religious fervor for global welfare.

The festivities kick off on October 11 with yagashala entry, Ganapathi puja, Kalasa Sthapana, Sri Chakra Archana, and Mahanyasa Purvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam.

During the 10-day event, Goddess Bhramaramba Devi will feature in distinct Navadurga alankarams, progressing from Shailaputri on October 11 to Siddhidayini on October 19, accompanied by grand daily vahana sevas.

A Sahasra Chandi Parayana Sahitha Shata Chandi Maha Rudra Yagam will also be performed.

A major highlight will be the formal presentation of sacred silk clothes to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba Devi by the State government on October 19 on Mahanavami. To enable smooth viewing of the ceremonies, an LED screen facility has been arranged at Gangadhara Mandapam.

The celebrations will conclude on October 20 with special rituals, Nandi vahana seva, Shami puja, and Teppotsavam. Elaborate arrangements have been finalized for all daily programmes.
