As the assembly sessions going on one side, the AP legislative council discussed Reverse tendering implemented by Jagan govt on various projects. Minister Anil Kumar Yadav responded to the issue and said that the last government had lied about Polavaram project. He said with the Reverse tendering policy initiated by govt had saved Rs 1600 crores.

"The total cost of the Polavaram project is Rs.55 thousand crore. Only Rs 17,000 crore has been spent so far," minister Anil said. He alleged that TDP had cheated the people by false claims of saying 75 per cent of the works were completed.

Minister Anil alleged that the previous government focused on Polavaram in the last two years of their term. He said the Polavaram spillway would be completed by July 2020 and assured that 18,000 homes would be moved to other places when the floods arrive.
