In a major decision, TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has tendered his resignation letter from his MLA post to the AP Legislative Assembly Speaker on Saturday.
Visakhapatnam: In a major decision, TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao has tendered his resignation letter from his MLA post to the AP Legislative Assembly Speaker on Saturday.
The resignation was submitted in support of the ongoing agitation against the Centre's decision to privatise Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).
In his recent tweets, Visakhapatnam North Constituency MLA urged the public representatives not to step back to submit their resignation letters if need be to save the steel plant.
On Saturday, Ganta forwarded his resignation letter to the AP Legislative Assembly Speaker.
Ganta underlined the need to form a non-political joint action committee to protect the VSP from getting privatised.
