In a ghastly road accident occurred near Jaggaiahpet of Krishna district
In a ghastly road accident occurred near Jaggaiahpet of Krishna district, three persons lost lives and six others injured when a speeding car rammed a truck parked on the national highway near Garikapadu village in the early hours of Thursday. According to information, pilgrims returning from Vemulawada temple died in the mishap. The deceased were identified as Macharla Syam and Macharla Syamala and belongs to Madhira of Khammam district.
In all, nine persons including a driver were travelling in the car when the mishap occurred. The injured six persons were shifted to Khammam hospital in Khammam. Jaggaiahet police are investigating the case. This is the second major accident in Krishna district in the last few days. Recently, three persons died in a mishap occurred near Hanuman Junction on Vijayawada-Eluru national highway.
