Tirupati: Renovated Ashwini Hospital inaugurated at Tirumala
TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy said the Ashwini Hospital is spruced up into a full-fledged hospital with the latest equipment and mini operation theatre and with 30 beds.
Tirumala: TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy said the Ashwini Hospital is spruced up into a full-fledged hospital with the latest equipment and mini operation theatre and with 30 beds.
Inaugurating the new model hospital after renovation, in which the Tata group had donated Rs 4 crore worth equipment and also tied up for treating cancer patients, the TTD chairman said that henceforth all emergency cases would be handled at Tirumala hospital. Earlier the patients under serious conditions used to be shifted to SVIMS hospital at Tirupati.
The Ashwini Hospital is also supported by the Apollo group who have donated a cardiac unit to treat cases of heart attack. He thanked the Tata research group and the Apollo hospital for their contributions to develop the TTD hospital in Tirumala for pilgrims and also locals. TTD Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy, Chief Engineer Ramachandra Reddy, Dr Narmada and Dr Kusumakumari were also present.
