Union Education Secretary inspects schools in Puttaparthi
Puttaparthi: The visit of TK Anil Kumar, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, to Puttaparthi mandal in Sri Sathya Sai district concluded successfully on Friday.
Accompanied by district Collector A Shyam Prasad and senior Samagra Shiksha officials, he inspected innovative programmes, digital teaching methods and infrastructure at AP Model School and KGBV in Jagarajupalli, and the Model Primary School in Puttaparthi. He reviewed school profiles, libraries, STEM labs, digital classrooms with clicker-based assessments, vocational labs, sports facilities, rainwater harvesting systems and kitchen gardens.
At KGBV, Anil Kumar observed PAL labs, Brighter Minds sessions, health services, mid-day meal hygiene, self-defence, yoga and cultural programmes. Expressing satisfaction with the standards of digital education and infrastructure, he appreciated the efforts under PM-SHRI scheme.
