TDP senior leader and polite bureau member Varla Ramaiah wrote a letter to chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's wife YS Bharati. In his letter, Ramaiah questioned Bharati for not telecasting his press meets in the Sakshi channel.

"Is this the way the fourth estate works taking sides on the lines of political parties; I am deeply saddened by the way the Sakshi media is treating me by not allocating space for my news item in print or television, " Varla Ramaiah asserted. He also said that it is not ethical for a media house to project the opposition leader in the wrong way.

The former MP also brought to the notice of Bharati about the false news circulated against Chandrababu Naidu over the IT raids. This is purely a political vengeance. "Despite the fact that the Income Tax department has released the report regarding raids on the Srinivasulu stating that they have seized an amount of 2.63 lakhs, the Sakshi media is spreading false news and running fake stories on the raids citing that the sleuths have found 2000 crore, " Ramaiah opined in the letter.

"I hereby request you with a lot of respect to stop the false propaganda against the opposition leaders, " Varla Ramaiah ended the letter.
