Vijayawada: Welcoming the budget presented on Tuesday in the AP Assembly C V Atchut Rao, president of Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that it was a good combination of development and welfare measures in the State.
He said in a statement here on Tuesday, he also said that the allocation to the energy sector and the transport showed that due importance was given to them in the State for the development of infrastructure projects.
He hoped that agriculture would get a boost with budgetary allocation.
He stated that the large allocation in the budget for welfare schemes would reach the needy.
However, the government could have announced a few measures to promote and attract private investments which will help in creating more employment, he added.
