Vijayawada: Free medical camp for differently-abled held at Anu Hospital
There was good response to the free medical camp organised by Anu Hospital to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) here on Tuesday.
Vijayawada: There was good response to the free medical camp organised by Anu Hospital to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) here on Tuesday.
The hospital pediatric orthopedic doctor K Durga Prasad said free tests were conducted for children with disabilities like Mobility and Physical Impairments, Spinal Cord Disability, Head Injuries (TBI) - Brain Disability, Cognitive or Learning Disabilities, Vision Disability, Hearing Disability and Psychological Disorders at the camp.
He said that through Dr YSR Aarogyasri scheme operations were done free to the patients suffering from disabilities. He said that they are providing the latest advanced treatment to the patients to lead a better life.
Hospital managing director Dr G Ramesh said that they have been extending free camps and service for a healthy society. Dr Swetha, Dr Nataraj, Dr Ramya and others were present on the occasion.
