Vijayawada: Well-known film lyricist Mounasri Mallik, Khammam Lady Jayasri Muvva and a professor from Warangal Chandra Mouli won The North American Telugu Association (TANA)'s Global Poetry Competitions organised by TANA to mark the Father's Day.

TANA received 750 poems from across the globe for the completions. The topic was 'Ghanudu Nanna Tyagadhanudu Nanna.' The names of winners were announced by famous lyricist Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry and noted film artiste and poet Tanikella Bharani on behalf of TANA. The event coordinator Chigurumala Srinivas said the celebrations were conducted on zoom app conference by the president of TANA Jayashekhar Talluri. TANA Foundation chairman Niranjan Srinagarvaram, Venom Foundation chairman Murali Vennam head of 'Bait Graph Studio' Prashanth, Coordinator Chigurumala Srinivas, Raja Kasukurti others participated in the event.

Kalageetha and Kiran Prabha acted as judges. Speaking on the occasion, Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry said, "Father's sacrifices are unforgettable. Father not only plays key role in the development of the children but indirectly influences society." He congratulated the winners and appreciated the organisers for conducting such a massive program. Speaking on this occasion film actor Tanikella Bharani said that it is a very inspiring thing that TANA organize poetry competitions on the topic of Father. He explained some lines of famous poetry on Father in Telugu Literature. 41 participants received special prizes and another 70 were given encouragement prizes. People from Telugu states and Telugus from other states and countries participated in the contest.
