Visakhapatnam: Raising a slogan 'I am BC, arrest me too,' TDP Visakhapatnam urban president Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar staged a protest at the party office here on Friday.
Opposing the continued arrests of TDP leaders in the recent past, he said the police earlier used to bookcases, if they had proof.
"However, now the target is only on TDP leaders who try to bring the loopholes of government to the fore," he stated.
He alleged that the YSRCP government was indulging in an arrest-spree without securing any proper evidence.
He strongly condemned the arrests made by the YSRCP government with 'created' evidence and expressed anguish against the way Tekkali MLA Kinjarapu Atchannaidu was arrested.
