Visakhapatnam: Three cops from district bag Skoch Awards
Three cops from Visakhapatnam district bagged the much-coveted Skoch Awards for their tremendous contribution to the society through various outreach programmes.
Visakhapatnam: Three cops from Visakhapatnam district bagged the much-coveted Skoch Awards for their tremendous contribution to the society through various outreach programmes.
Chintapalli ASP S Sathish Kumar, Paderu sub-division DSP V B Rajkamal and Anakapalle DSP K Sravani have been received the awards for their remarkable contribution in executing 'Prerana', a tribal youth outreach programme, Spoorthy, a training programme for the tribal youth for the Staff Selection Commission, and iSPARC (Integrated Surveillance, Patrolling and Response Centre) respectively.
The awards were presented to the cops by founder-chairman of Skoch Group Sameer Kochhar at a grand ceremony held in New Delhi on Friday. Director General of Police D Goutham Sawang also graced the ceremony.
