Vizianagaram: Sanchaita Gajapathi Raju, the chairperson of Maharaja Alak Narayana Society of Arts and Science (MANSAS), has taken another controversial decision of shifting its headquarters and the registered office located in Vizianagaram fort to junior college premises at Padmanabham village in Visakhapatnam district.

Sanchaita, soon after her appointment as Chairperson of the trust, has been taking several decisions which became debatable in the public. The trust has several educational institutions like junior colleges, degree, PG colleges and schools, including engineering colleges and 108 temples in north Andhra including Simhachalam temple and even in East Godavari district. It has around 14,000 acres of lands in these districts.

She wrote a letter to endowments commissioner in this regard and said that the new office would be opened at Padmanabham village of Visakhapatnam district. She told the office from Vizianagaram fort would be shifted to the junior college premises at Padmanabham.

She added the new office would be spacious and has all infrastructure facilities along with rest rooms for staff. Actually, the office in fort premises is very convenient for any officer to visit it. The new office in Padmanabham village is in a remote area and it will not be easily accessible to everyone to reach there.
