Vijayawada: Hundreds of Christians took part in 'Walk for Christ' to mark the holy week of Good Friday organised by Gunadala Mary Temple Mosignour M Prasad here on Tuesday. Catholic Bishop T Joseph Rajarao participated in the walk.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajarao said Jesus Christ birth is sacred and he lived a holy life to cleanse the sins of humanity. All the people should take Jesus as an inspiration to lead a prosperous and righteous life.
Special prayers were offered at the well decorated Gunadala temple on the occasion. The walk commenced at St Peter's Cathedral in One Town and concluded at Gunadala Mary Temple
