Woman commits suicide along with her three-year-old daughter in Prakasam district
A woman has committed suicide along with her daughter over unable to bear the harassment of her husband who is addicted to alcohol.
Gudluru: A woman has committed suicide along with her daughter over unable to bear the harassment of her husband who is addicted to alcohol. The deceased identified as Sreelekha and her three years old daughter Varshitha who reside at Chevuru village here in the Mandal.
Sreelekha, after getting marriage remained well with her husband for three years. After that, her husband Chenchu Babu, who became addicted started harassing Sreelekha.
In the complaint, Sreelekha's relative Ramanaiah stated that both committed suicide by hanging in the house over unable to tolerate the harassment of her husband. On receiving the information, SI Panduranga Rao registered a case on husband Chenchu Babu and his parents and investigating further. The bodies have been shifted to Kandukur government hospital for post-mortem.
