DGP Gautam Sawang said the village and ward secretariat introduced by AP chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy would change the society through the women's care system. Complaints received by the village secretaries are being linked to the police. The DGP said that all districts SPs and police chiefs had been instructed to strictly enforce the Zero FIR, regardless of the jurisdiction of the police station for complaints.
DGP Gautam Sawang inaugurated the Village and Ward Women's Care Trainers' Workshop at Police Headquarters in Mangalgiri. He released the materials for the training classes. Police and women's child care officials from thirteen districts of the state participated in the workshop. The DGP has given several suggestions that the trainers have raised suspicions.
Women care workers will be trained in self-care, yoga and also boost mental fitness. It has also been announced that an app will be released soon for women's care. The DGP said that all districts SPs and superiors have been instructed to implement Zero FIR strictly. DGP Gautam Sawang noted that the CM YS Jagan's Spandana program had already changed and that there was a major change in the setting up of the village-based women's care system.
