Bengaluru: Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa ruled out the possibility of imposing night curfew during the New Year celebrations. The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on November 30 recommended night curfew (from 8 pm to 5 am) from December 26 to January 1 along with a blanket ban on the celebrations to prevent huge gatherings that could lead to the spread of Covid-19.
The TAC sought ban on celebrations at MG Road and Brigade Road where revelers gather in large numbers on December 31.
