Despite the demand on the yellow metal in this wedding season, the price of gold hashas decreased to a maximum level of Rs 290 per 10 gm on Wednesday. In the Hyderabad market, the price of 10 gm of 24-carat gold rate remained at 42,240 while the price of 10 gm of 22-carat gold is at 38,690. The prices are similar in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam regions of Andhra Pradesh as well.

On the other hand, the Silver, which increased on Tuesday by Rs 300 has come down by the same amount on Wednesday making it to Rs 49,000 per kg.

In the national capital Delhi market, the price of the yellow metal has also decreased by Rs 300. With this, the gold price of 10 grams and 24 carats remained at Rs 40,700 and the price of 10 grams and 22-carat gold remained at Rs 39,500.

There are many factors that affect gold prices such as inflation, change in global market prices, gold reserves at central banks, interest rates, jewelery market, geopolitical tensions, etc. The prices may vary from time to time.
