Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s ‘Texla’ goes on floors

Shooting for Texla, the upcoming film directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, has officially commenced. The project stars Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu and Tamil actor Jai in the lead roles and is being produced by Kannan Ravi Group.
Announcing the beginning of the shoot on social media, the makers shared a video from the sets along with a message expressing excitement about the film’s journey. The production house described the project as an emotional and nostalgic entertainer designed for audiences across languages.
The film was earlier launched with a grand pooja ceremony at Leela Palace in Chennai earlier this year. Several film personalities, including Seeman and Samuthirakani, attended the event along with the cast and crew.
Sources close to the production reveal that Suraj Venjaramoodu will be seen playing Jai’s father in the film. Actor George Maryan, who received appreciation for his performance in Dragon, is also playing a crucial role.
The title teaser of Texla had already attracted attention for its nostalgic setting and emotionally rich visuals. The teaser revolved around a group of village boys eagerly waiting for a film screening, symbolising the magic of cinema.
The makers have also confirmed that Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music for the film. Planned as a multilingual release, Texla will hit screens in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
