Ajith's Valimai Will Release In Theatres Before OTT

Thala Ajith's Valimai is one the most celebrated actors in Kollywood. He is known to pick some unusual roles and has had a fantastic career so far. From playing a hero with negative shades in Vaali and playing a doting father in his latest Viswasam to a lawyer in Nerkonda Paarvai, the actor has been there done that. There's no role that the Tamil actor has not played. Ajith also enjoys a huge fan following around the globe.

The actor's last movie Nerkonda Parvai, a courtroom drama, bankrolled by Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor. So when Ajith collaborated with director H Vinoth for his next Valimai, Boney decided to pump in funds for that too. The movie is one of the most anticipated movies this year. However, the makers had to halt the shooting of the movie midway because of the sudden lockdown imposed by the government due to COVID-19. Now, we hear only half the shooting is over and here's a lot left to be done.

Now, the makers are waiting for the situation to get back to normalcy before they take the movie to the sets again, there are talks doing the rounds about Ajith's Valimai releasing directly on OTT. The news seems to have reached the ears of the film's producer. In a recent interview, Boney Kapoor has put all the speculation to rest by saying that he prefers to release all his movies in theatres as he believes in the magic of the big screen. So, the Bollywood filmmaker said that not only Valimai all his other movies too will hit theatres first.

This should come as a relief to the fans of Thala Ajith. There's no denying the fact that the fun of watching a movie on the big screen is vere level da (another level). Whatsay?
