T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar, who is co-producing the film dropped the trailer on social media. Kabir Singh is written and directed by Sandeep Vanga. It is a remake of his own Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017). It focuses on the title character, an alcoholic surgeon who goes on a self-destructive path after his ex-lover marries someone else.

Shahid Kapoor, who plays the titular role of Kabir Singh, is disturbing cool and one path, which leads to death. A brilliant surgeon with a broken heart, trying his hands on mood-altering substance to mend it, is worth the watch. Actress Kiara Advani, plays a young grad medical student, who falls for the anger senior played by Shahid Kapoor but things goes sore between the two.

The trailer of 'Kabir Singh' gives us a glimpse into the life of an impeccable academic student Kabir which is played by Shahid and how his life changes when the love of his life Kiara Advani, is forced to marry someone else.

Apart from the love between the lead actors, the trailer shows us the intoxicated lifestyle and anger issues that Shahid's character goes through in the film. The film also features Suresh Oberoi.

The film is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on 21 June 2019.
