Ayushmann Khurrana Pays A Tribute To Smita Patil On Her 34th Death Anniversary

Yesteryear actress Smita Patil who died at the young age of 31 left a legacy behind her and had a wonderful career in the film industry featuring in 80 movies. But unfortunately, she passed away at a very young age after giving birth to her son PrateikBabbar. Today being SmitaPatil's34th death anniversary, her husband Raj Babbar and young actor Ayushmann Khurrana paid tributes on social media.

Ayushmann shared the throwback image of SmitaPatil and wrote, "And she was just 31 when she passed away on 13th Dec 1986". Along with this pic, Ayushmann also picked a song named "MeeRaatTaakli, Me KaatTaakl…" which was sung by "LataMangeshkar, RavindraSathe and Chandrakant Kale. This post showed off the heartfelt gesture by the actor.

The short pathway of memories you walked, left so many indelible impressions that your absence isn't easy to believe. You saw so little & yet had so much to showcase. Your hasty retreat from our lives would always remain unexplained."

SmitaPatil died on 13th December, 1986 after giving birth to her son PrateikBabbar. She faced childbirth complications (Puerperal sepsis) and breathed her last after 2 weeks of giving birth to her child.
