Chiyaan Vikram's Cobra is one of the most awaited Kollywood releases this year. The movie is being directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of Demonte Colony fame. The movie was a horror flick and did well at the ticket window. Now, the director can't wait for the lockdown to ease so he could resume shooting. We already told you that while the makers have shot 60% of the movie another 40% schedule remains.
Seven Screens Studio is producing the movie by Lalith Kumar. Besides Chiyaan Vikram, Cobra also stars Srinidhi Shetty of KGF fame.
We all know that the covid pandemic has destroyed lives and economy has taken a beating. While producers are worried over the losses , the Cobra director Ajay Gnanamuthu has decided to take a pay cut of 40%.
Ajay Gnanamuthu's decision to take a 40pc pay cut has made producers happy. They are glad about the director taking the first step to lead and at the same time he is also fast becoming the first Kollywood director to do so.
