Recently, Yuvan shared a pic of his third wife Zafroon Nisa and his baby daughter. In her Instagram page, Yuvan's spouse clarified that he had not got converted to marry her as he had converted to Islam before getting hitched. Objecting to a few fans of the music director implying that reason, Zafroon, a fashion designer said it was purely the music director's voluntary decision and she had no role in it.
After a troubled personal life and two divorces earlier, Yuvan Shankar took solace in Islam but has retained the original name that his parents had bestowed on him since 1979, the year in which he was born.
