‘#LUB’ launched with a grand pooja ceremony
A new romantic entertainer titled ‘#LUB’ was launched with a traditional and grand Pooja Ceremony. The film is jointly produced by Mahesh Kumar Sanka and Bhagawan under the banners of JJ Art Movies, Pavanasutha Productions and Gayathri Cinemas. With this film, Manikanta Pedamallu is making his directorial debut.
The film introduces Pavaan Kesari as the male lead and Pramukhya as the female lead. The cast also includes Abhitej, JDV Prasad, Mallika Lella, Sai Kiran, Romancham fame Madhu, Viswanath & Sons fame Harika, Bhanu Prakash Kadiyala, Motha Rajender and others in key roles.
Prominent writer BVS Ravi gave the ceremonial clap for the film, while Hanu-Man producer Chaitanya Reddy switched on the camera. The first shot was directed by Manikanta Pedamallu, while the script was handed over by Crazy Kalyanam producer B. Jagannath Reddy and BVS Ravi.
The launch ceremony was attended by several personalities from the film industry, including Sambarala Yeti Gattu director Rohith KP, director Samudra, producers Lagadapati Srinivasa Rao and Srikanth, who extended their best wishes to the entire team.
Speaking on the occasion, lead actor Pawan Kesari thanked the chief guests and media representatives for attending the film’s launch. He said that ‘#LUB’ is a refreshing blend of rom-com, comedy, love and emotions. Expressing his happiness about being part of the project, he thanked the director and producers for giving him the opportunity and said that the team has begun the journey with a very good story and will work hard to bring it to audiences in the best possible way. Making her debut with the film, heroine Pramukhya expressed her gratitude to the makers for believing in her. She said, “This is my first film, and I am very thankful to the director and producers for selecting me after my audition. My character in the film is quite strong, and I am extremely happy to be working with such a passionate and enthusiastic team.”
The producers said that they entered the film industry with the passion to make films with strong and engaging stories. They expressed their confidence that ‘#LUB’, backed by good content and a talented team of newcomers, will connect with Telugu audiences. They also stated that they are keen to encourage and work with fresh talent through more projects in the future.
