Talented actor Dulquer Salmaan, who wowed the Telugu movie buffs with his scintillating performance in 'Mahanati,' is in talks for another Telugu movie this year. "I will be doing a straight Telugu film in the second half of this year.
Let the team announce it officially," he said. The actor was in Hyderabad to promote his latest film 'Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante' and terms it as an exciting thriller packed with loads of fun and romance. "I feel that my latest film has enough potential in Telugu and Tamil markets. I have dubbed for myself and it has come out well. Not all films click in the bilingual space, so I am selective," he informs.
He is happy to dabble with varied language movies and thanks filmmakers for offering him 'good scripts.' The son of legendary actor Mammootty says, "I have stopped being too conscious about my identity as Mammootty's son. I think I have picked really good films and made space for myself," he explains. He claims that story is the 'hero' in Malayalam film industry more than big stars. "Stars draw openings, but only good movies have a longer run," he signs off.
