Nani confirms that Jersey is not a biopic
After Devadas, Actor Nani has opted for a sports drama and is coming up with his new film, Jersey. Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, this film is all set to release worldwide on this 19th. Bangalore based actress, Shraddha Srinath is making her debut as heroine in Telugu, with this movie.

From a past few months, it is being reported that the film is a biopic of Ranji cricketer Raman Lamba. It was said that the film chronicles the life of a talented Ranji cricketer, who fails to make it to the national team. But Nani quashed all the news as just rumours.
He said that the storyline is similar but it is not based on any cricketer's life. "Cricket is just an integral part of this film. there are many other emotional scenes will move the hearts of the audience. I've seen in for 20 times and every time, I found it new. Hope audience will also like it," said Nani.
