Megastar Chiranjeevi made his political entry by establishing a party called Praja Rajyam. Later, he chose to quit politics. He is now busy with back to back movies. There are speculations that Chiranjeevi gets a Rajyasabha. But, Chiranjeevi's brother Naga Babu has given clarity on the same.
"A lot of websites speculated that Chiranjeevi garu is getting Rajya Sabha seat. This created a lot of confusion. Chiranjeevi garu is currently focusing on movies and he has no other interest. He is shooting for Koratala Siva's next film Acharya. Very soon, he begins another film. He is the busiest actor of all the actors in our family. If he wants to get back to politics, all parties will welcome him with open hands. Chiranjeevi garu does not want to be a rival to Pawan Kalyan. For his brother, Chiranjeevi sacrificed his political interests." said Naga Babu.
