Naga Chaitanya Akkineni always wanted to work with director Sekhar Kammula but the opportunity of Love Story came, all of a sudden. Sekhar Kammula initially planned the film with newcomers. Dimple Hayathi who danced in Gadhalakonda Ganesh is the heroine for the film initially. Sekhar later shelved the film and brought Chay and Sai Pallavi on board.
Naga Chaitanya immediately responded to Sekhar and gave dates in bulk. Sekhar has been shooting the film for a long time and has exceeded the number of dates that Chay gave the producers. Sekhar was supposed to wrap up the shoot last month itself but due to several reasons, it got delayed now.
Apparently, Sekhar is shooting a lot of footage that the actor feels not required. But with due respect to Sekhar, Chay is remaining silent but has hinted that the film has to get wrapped up soon so that he moves on to his next film.
