Tollywood: From the last couple of days, it is being heard that Nani's V is going to have a direct digital release. Apparently, producer Dil Raju had to try a lot to convince Nani to let him release the film directly on a digital platform.
According to the sources, Dil Raju initially planned to release the film in theaters. However, there are no signs of the reopening of theaters anytime soon, he considered the option of releasing it online. He asked the opinion of distributors and they also suggested him to do the same. But Nani was adamant to release the film in theaters. Thus, the producer had to try a lot and explain the situation to the actor. Finally, Nani gave his nod for the OTT release.
Apparently, V premieres on Amazon Prime Video on the 5th of September. Directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, this film features Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari in the other lead roles.
