Whenever a new movie hits the theatre, miscreants waste no time in recording it on their phone cameras to upload it on torrents. The latest to be hit by the piracy bug is Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya's latest release Venky Mama. The movie which opened amid much hype received a lukewarm response from the audience.
To make matters worse, now we hear that Tamil Rockers which had earlier leaked movies like Majili, Dear Comrade and Taxiwala on the same day of its release has done the same with the latest Venky movie too.
As per reports, Tamil Rockers has leaked Venky Mama online for download. This has angered the movie crew who had put in a lot of effort to bring out the movie. While fans of Venky and Chaitanya are pleading people to report piracy, miscreants are having a field day circulating the movie for free viewing.
Venky Mama was released in theatres worldwide on Friday. The film directed by KS Ravindra was produced by Suresh Babu. Thaman has scored the music. Venky Mama has Payal Rajput, Raashi Khanna and Prakash Raj in key roles. Let's see if the movie can pick up collections over the weekend.
